System Overview: 

The system consist of a master panel and 12 + 1 numbers of slave lighting control panel connected in Modbus industrial wired network.

The Master Panel:

The Master panel is located in the control room having a touch control panel to control individual panels from the control room and monitoring facility to know the status of the slave control panels.

An ideal time master control panel inquires the status of each slave panel and updates it on the screen. In control mode, it can take control of each slave panel to switch on/off  or change dimming levels as per requirement.

The Slave Lighting control panel:

The Slave lighting control panel is a panel that controls the operation of high mast lighting on/off and dimming operation as per programmed parameters.

Slave Lighting control panel consist of HMI to update programming parameters and Manual on/ off and dimming operation from the local panel.

The panel is designed in such a way that it operates in a stand-alone mode and not depends on any other devices on the network. This feature makes the overall system quite robust and can function normally in case of failure of any device on the network or even in case of network failure.

Although its stand-alone system is capable to take Modbus commands from the Master control panel and allow the master to override its normal operational mode, which mostly used for maintenance purposes or for customization in operation.

The slave control panel has the capacity to control DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) luminaries for ON/ OFF and Dimming using single DALI network. The slave control panel consists of a DALI controller and a DALI gateway. This consist of programmable schedules ( 5 numbers) of different dimming level by which end-user can customize their operational requirement to the optimum level of lighting and electrical consumption/saving.
